**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**PagoNxt Trade is looking for a Head of Achitecture based in Boadilla del Monte office.**

**PagoNxt **is a new company wholly owned by Santander that incorporates our most disruptive payments & trade businesses into a single, autonomous company, creating one of the largest private fintech companies in the world. This new company will deliver payment & trade solutions for merchants and consumers with compelling technology to become a leading global payments provider in the medium term.

In order to achieve these goal, PagoNxt is organized in three different business:

- Merchant Solutions, for merchants and acquirers.
- Trade Solutions, for corporates and SMEs.
- Consumer Solutions, digital products and services for individuals.

This role will be part of our PagoNxt Trade Solutions team and will be responsible for delivering fast, efficient trade finance, supplying chain and FX payments solutions for international SMEs that were once only accessible to larger corporations.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **Head of Architecture **you will define and maintain a holistic view of the Payments Hub's architectural strategy and processes to govern it across geographies, aligned to the business mission and product strategy.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Definition of the target architecture of the payments hub (functional, data, technical, integration).
- Definition of the architectural principles and reference models.
- Definition and implementation of governance over the delivery against architecture framework by Design Authority discipline across teams (product and local teams).
- Active contribution to the product’s roadmap and strategy discussions.
- Provision of Continuous Improvement & Innovated solutions.

EXPERIENCE
- From 7-10 years.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor´s degree or similar.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Strong strategic and directive leadership and people management skills, leading and inspiring team to successful delivery.
- Takes a pragmatic and forward thinking approach, plans for the business needs of tomorrow as well as today.
- Confident and practised communicator, with excellent stakeholder management skills, internally and externally.
- Strong decision making capability, selecting the best course of action based on the available information, and accepts personal responsibility for the outcome.
- Familiar with new technologies and ways of working (Cloud, DevOps, Agile, etc).
