The leadership at Cosmographic Software LLC has some big plans for 2023 and beyond, and we're looking to expand our team with new talent for our project:
**SpaceEngine.**

We're currently looking for junior C++ programmers to work on SpaceEngine - an HD universe simulator available on Steam. The hope is to find people who are looking for something to last for the longer term, who are genuinely interested in what we're making, and in working on a fully custom-built engine.

You would be working under the guidance of a senior programmer with over 30 years' experience in game development, and your initial focus would be working on the engine itself.

This is a fully remote position, so being able to self-motivate is essential

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in C++
- Bachelor's degree in software development or computer science
- Experience with 3D graphics development (OpenGL or Vulkan API a plus)
- Ability to work reliably in a remote setting with limited oversight
- Ability to attend weekly video meetings (incl. reliable internet and video)
- PC capable of running SpaceEngine
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work 9:00 - 4:00pm ET

- Work together with the senior coder on refactoring and optimizing the existing engine during the transition to Vulkan
