Field Service Rep based in Barcelona

Varian is looking for a skilled and collaborative Field Service Representative to join our inclusive team. This full-time Field Service Rep remote role offers a favorable salary and benefits package. You'll also have the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.

The Field Service Representative (FSR) is the primary contact for Varian customer service and repair needs, ensuring that our customers’ equipment operates efficiently at all times. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, upgrading and performing preventative maintenance on all designated Varian equipment according to instructions and company guidelines.

You will be responsible for the Est Spanish area, you must be located in Barcelona or near by.

In your first few weeks in this Field Service Representative role, you can expect to:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all designated Varian equipment within an assigned service territory, including preventative maintenance, installations and upgrades per Varian guidelines- Manage time and maintain a schedule to include preventative maintain, installations, and upgrades as well as incoming customer calls- Understand and recognize the need to escalate incidents when necessary and/or request additional assistance from more tenured representatives- Examine difficult customer issues and diagnose and resolve the issues and meet established FSR levels- Sound computer usage and debugging skills- Ability to identify and repair complex software and delivery system network problems- Ability in the role of a Field Service representative- Proficiency in most advanced modalities of Varian product lines within geography
