**Job Description**:
Working as a DataOps Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the operations of our key data platforms, particularly the measurement & reporting of performance of our data processes, root cause and trend analysis of data errors & job fails, and our DataOps performance dashboard.- The work will include working towards these goals, establishing foundations where necessary:
- Curate and collect data on specific performance aspects of our underlying systems.- Deliver analyses & visualizations of audit logs, trends and patterns.- Promoting a performance measurement culture in Brambles Data & Analytics.- Identifying opportunities to measure & report our operations performance.- Work with external vendors to implement performance measurement capabilities.- Manage the live operation of data observability, orchestration & automated testing systems.- Implement operations process changes as required.- Work with stakeholders and users to collect feedback on our data operations.
About you
This role is a technical, individual contributor role. You will be comfortable working to a detailed level with high precision. You will be process-literate with a rigorous approach to documenting and communicating your work, you will be able to interact with people from all functions, and at all levels in the company.
Key Accountabilities- Operate measurement & reporting processes for our data ecosystem.- Work with vendors and technical support partners to resolve issues.- Take accountability for delivering our DataOps Performance dashboard.- Create and maintain new performance reports relating to aspects of Dataops.- Support the implementation and operation of DataOps projects as required.- Influence the evolution of our DataOps strategy.- Evaluate DataOps vendors and tools for potential use.- Solving our DataOps landscape is still evolving and many aspects of our operations and are still to be created or resolved.- This role will involve operating our platforms in a time of rapid change, ambiguity and creating Dataops performance reports and the underlying processes.- Scheduling operations enhancements- Working autonomously / having limited access to immediate manager.- Working in a matrix environment.- Working remotely across multiple time zones.
Experience- Experience in a operations-focused role in a data ecosystem of a large organization- Familiarity with process design and implementation.- Analytical work in relation to systems and their users.- Solid experience of data analysis, visualisation & dashboard reporting.- Familiarity with data engineering, cloud engineering or data science operations.
Skills and Knowledge- Ability to prioritise effectively when working with a high volume of tasks.- Capable of working with a high level of detail whilst retaining accuracy.- Can deal with the time pressure that sometimes comes with Operations tasks.- The operation and management of user-facing business processes

Bachelors - Computer and Information Science

3 - 5 years
