**JOB PURPOSE**:
To provide technical support and guidance in facilities maintenance and in the development of facility projects. Will work with internal customers, internal/external suppliers, consultants and governmental entities/regulatory agencies to support/improve facilities operations and cost effectiveness, as well as to maintain and improve all existing buildings part of the facility. Provide all the logistic support required for smooth and seamless operation of different departments activities and Demonstration/Marketing Programs.

**JOB DUTIES**:
This is a staff position that specializes in projects development and facility maintenance. This position requires a understanding with building systems and operations, along with understanding in specific fields of facilities such as planning, design, construction, operations, office services and/or maintenance, and building and infrastructure systems such as civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, HVAC, electrical and/or controls. This knowledge is necessary to provide optimum facilities lifecycle quality, operations, and costs.

Provides direction and guidance to facilities personnel and others in a continuous effort to improve facilities operations. Works with suppliers, consultants and government entities/regulatory agencies in the development of projects that ensure the most efficient, sustainable and cost effective facilities, facilities systems and/or operations.

This position is responsible for the implementation of major facilities processes, maintenance and/or construction; and the coordination of that work with the total facility. Develops plans for facilities projects, prepares and establishes priorities for cost effectiveness, manages budgeting/expense & capital accounting/purchasing matters associated with the work and communicates with interested parties. Performs liaison duties with customer groups, facilities occupants, various functional areas, maintenance and construction personnel, consultants and governmental entities/regulatory agencies to promote smooth transition of new and revised facilities operations and projects.

Adheres to established industry and enterprise standards, policies and practices relating to safety, quality, schedule, cost, accounting, purchasing and regulatory compliance in performing assigned duties.

Reporting directly to this position are outsources companies related with building, cleaning, gardening, maintenance and security
- Planning, development and execution of Facility CapEx projects
- Facility Maintenance: Gardening Landscaping, cleaning, security
- Provide facility support services to all Malaga Divisions
- Control Legal requirement compliance (licenses, permits, ISO 14001/45001, FM Global, OCAs (Industrial legalization)
- Office equipment maintenance
- Relationship with outside contractors/ local community
- Supplier contracts reviews
- Supply of goods

The position supervises or manages a work unit of hourly or outsourced employees where planning, scheduling, monitoring and reviewing work of subordinates is required. The position is responsible for all personnel issues and performance evaluation of subordinates.

Typical internal customers include the position's work group and immediate supervisor. The incumbent resolves issues by selecting the best solution from a few choices. The team or supervisor gives general instructions on what needs to be done, when it needs to be done and how it is typically done. The jobholder knows in advance the details of what needs to be done to serve customers and the standard procedures in place to accomplish it. They can change different parts of the standard approach to serve customers best, but cannot add or delete procedures without approval. The team or supervisor reviews work as it is being done and after it is completed. Impacts key quality goals including Customer Satisfaction, Timeliness, Efficiency, etc. The position changes the way work is performed to meet quality goals for the measure(s) stated.
