We are seeking a new team member to join us in the role of Solutions Engineer with proficiency in German. In this capacity, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of processing customer-specific tool requests and devising tailored proposals for diverse clients based in Germany. Collaborative engagement with various teams within our organization will be integral to ensuring the provision of optimal solutions to our valued partners.

Tasks
- Process of customer-specific tools requests and work out offers.
- Creation of concept drawing in consideration of technical and economic concerns.
- Independent working out of small projects
- Get in contact with the design department, which design 3D concept drawing or transform your concept drawing in a 3D model / drawing.
- External and internal presentations of worked out tool solutions.
- Technical clarifications (internal with sales, external with customers)
- Make a decision between make (inhouse) or buy.
- Clarify and monitor delivery dates
- Update of technical databases
- Analysis and calculation of cutting data (processing time, tool life etc.) for customers-specific tools. (cutting technique)

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Handling customer-specific tool requests and formulating tailored proposals.
- Creating concept drawings, with due consideration to technical and economic parameters.
- Independently managing small-scale projects.
- Collaborating with the design department for the creation of 3D concept drawings or the transformation of your concept into a 3D model/drawing.
- Delivering external and internal presentations on developed tool solutions.
- Addressing technical inquiries (both internally with sales and externally with customers).
- Making informed decisions regarding in-house production or procurement.
- Ensuring clarity and oversight of delivery timelines.
- Maintaining and updating technical databases.
- Analysing and calculating cutting data (processing time, tool lifespan, etc.) for customer-specific tools (cutting techniques).

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in languages is essential: Fluent in English and highly proficient in German.
- Background in mechanical engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with metal cutting tools is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SAP is preferable.
- Strong user proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or NX is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
