**NEUTRON SCIENCE FOR MATERIALS DISCOVERY
**Materials Physics Center (Donostia / San Sebastián)**

The Centro de Física de Materiales - Materials Physics Center is offering a predoctoral
position (1+1+1 years) to work across the research groups of Dr. Pedro B. Coto and Prof.
together with a multi-disciplinary team, will use _ab-initio_ methods, molecular-dynamics
simulations, machine-learning and deep-learning approaches, inelastic neutron scattering
and diffraction, and thermophysical measurements to explore and design novel materials
for energy conversion and storage.

The positions will be funded by MCIN and by the European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR
- C17.I1, as well as by IKUR Strategy under the collaboration agreement between Ikerbasque
Foundation and DIPC on behalf of the Department of Education of the Basque Government.

Center. The salary will be of 17.398,20 euros during the first year before taxes.
