**Major Responsibilities**
- To assist the kitchen team in producing high quality goods whilst working as an integrated employee with the kitchen team

**Tools/Equipment Used**
- Works with all major kitchen equipment, including hazardous equipment
- May use own knives, ensuring that they are sharp and clean

**Daily Duties**
- To ensure that the uniform provided is kept clean, presentable and in good condition, ensuring that personal appearance and hygiene standards are an example for the team and demonstrate a professional image for our guests
- To set up daily mise en place
- To be capable to forward planning
- To work as part of the kitchen team
- To prepare all meat, fish and garnishes as required
- To receive food items, signing receipts
- To cook prepare and cook food for the restaurant, room service and banqueting, including a la carte and du jour menus as well as any special requests
- To prepare both hot and cold food for various sections
- To prepare a variety of hot and cold sauces
