The **Polymers and Soft Matter (PSM) Group** at CFM is offering a predoctoral position
(initially for a period of 1+1 years, with a possible extension for another year) starting
imminently and always before December 2023 to work with Dr. Armando Maestro, in
collaboration with Dr. Ester Verde, in the synthesis and characterization of biocompatible
polymer nanoparticles interacting with biomimetic model systems.

The position will be funded by the Education Department of the Basque Government thanks
- Materials Physics Center.

Center. The salary will be of 17.398,20 euros during the first year before taxes.

The PSM Group at the Center of Materials Physics addresses fundamental problems related
with the structural and dynamical properties of polymers and soft matter systems. For more

polymeric materials. Expertise in the synthesis of polymeric nanoparticles will be highly
appreciated for this particular position, as well as background in the physical chemistry of
biological membranes.
