**Web crawling/scraping Devops Engineer**:
As a DevOps Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external
data infrastructure and workflows, which includes scripting and coding, infrastructure automation and ability to implement integrations that meet our customers’ needs.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Analysis of the current systems in use and developing plans for enhancements and
improvements.
- Working on ways to automate and improve data updates and fixes and provide Level 2
technical support.
- Develop software to integrate with internal backend systems.
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality, reusable and reliable code
- Managing a variety of data storage and data management systems
- Constantly improving data reliability and quality
- Building and implementing new automation tools and infrastructure
- Providing technical guidance to other team members
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- As a SCRUM member contribute to and be responsible for overall Team success.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or similar field
- Experience in software development
- DevOps: Creation of solutions with high scalability. (Docker, kubernetes)
- Design, develop and maintain high-quality, reusable and reliable code
- Testing: Unit, Integration, End-to-End, etc.
- Experience with IT/Data Infrastructure and data modelling knowledge
- Problem-solving attitude
- Experience with monitoring (PRTG, Application Insights etc.)
- Good written and verbal English communication skills (German is a plus)
**Skills required**: Previous knowledge in crawling systems is valued,
- and the use of related frameworks or tools (scrapy, crawlee, selenium).- Coding/ Automation/ Scripting Proficiency in coding languages is essential to this role,
include Python,.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL, NoSQL, Powershell, Bash. In addition, you must
- have a problem-solving capacity (creation of workflows, architectural design, algorithms, data
- structures, etc).- Cloud computing experience in cloud storage and cloud computing
- Systems and processes analysis: Analyses the technology and workflows currently being
used and develops plans and processes for improvement and expansion.
**Type of contract**:Full-time indefinite contract
