Employment Type: Full Time - Permanent

**Salary**: $28.85 CAD per hour, 40 hours per week.

Job Description.
- Manage the overall operation of the farm.
- Organize and coordinate planting, growing and harvesting activities.
- Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings.
- Establish marketing programs ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE A VALID PASSPORT. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PROVE YOUR EXPERIENCE OF AT LEAST 3 YEARS AS A MANAGER/SUPERVISOR WORKING IN GREENHOUSES AND GROWING ORGANIC TOMATOES, PEPPERS AND/OR CUCUMBERS.

**Salary**: $28.85 CAD per hour, 40 hours per week.

Job Description.
- Manage the overall operation of the farm.
- Organize and coordinate the activities of if.
- Maintain financial and production records.
- Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Perform general farm tasks.
- Plan the production budget.
- Develop accurate forecasts.
- Control pests.
- Supervise the climate control system (PRIVA).
- Prepare various yield reports.
- Travel to and from the second farm to perform the duties of the position.

Requirements-Main activity: Certified organic vegetable producer.
- Education: Completion of high school is required.
- Working conditions and physical abilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Standing for extended periods, Working under pressure, Bending, stooping, stooping, kneeling, Physical demand, Heavy workload.
- Personal aptitude: Initiative, Judgment, Flexibility, Team player, Organized, Values and ethics, Excellent oral communication, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent written communication.
- Work Environment: Outdoor, wet/humid, dusty, hot, cold/cool.
- Driver's license required.

Specific Requirements:

- Experience working with Greenhouses (IMPORTANT).
- Experience in management/supervision.
- Experience in PRIVA climate control systems will be an asset.

Important Information

Worker must have flexible availability, weekends and/or holidays. A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed regardless of weather conditions. Work schedule is based on the needs of the company.
