**Descripción del empleo** What you will do**
As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a team of Tech Leads and promoting standards and best practices within the organization. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of Tech Leads, providing guidance and support in their technical and leadership roles.
- Collaborating with product teams led by Tech Leads to understand their needs and requirements, and promoting the adoption of standards and best practices across the organization.
- Identifying areas for improvement in software development processes and driving initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Participating in architectural discussions and providing technical expertise to ensure the development of robust and scalable solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies and ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
- Understanding and managing technical debt with a pragmatic perspective, including governance at the organization level and assisting Tech Leads in dealing with it.
- Maintaining the tech radar for patterns and practices.
