Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Leadership: Lead and technically guide multiple large-scale data science initiatives focused on optimizing the clinical trial process.
- Mentorship: Mentor and coach other data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Methodology Advancement: Stay current with the latest methodologies in data science, NLP, and machine learning, and contribute to their adoption within the organization.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on multi-contributor projects that involve multiple business functions.
- Solution Architecting: Design and architect machine learning solutions for production deployment.
- Infrastructure as Code: Implement infrastructure as code practices, including Kubernetes and containerization of algorithms.
- Regulated Environment: Work effectively in a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with appropriate governance processes.
- MLOps: Lead the implementation of MLOps practices in a cloud-based environment.
- Communication: Effectively communicate technical insights, findings, and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science).
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning, with a focus on NLP and classification algorithms.
- Demonstrated experience working on multiple multi-contributor projects that involve multiple business functions.
- Proven experience in architecting and deploying machine learning solutions in a production environment.
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, and containerization of algorithms.
- Experience working in a regulated environment with knowledge of appropriate governance processes.
- Expertise in implementing MLOps practices in a cloud-based environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A track record of keeping up-to-date with the latest methodologies and technologies in data science.
