**Job Purpose**

To give legal advice to business units on 261 and data protection matters.

**Main Accountabilities**
- Giving advice to the different business areas about any project involving
261 Regulation and data protection matters.
- Reviewing new processing activities and performing the necessary
assessments in order to comply with 261 Regulation and GDPR.
- Monitoring compliance with GDPR and corporate compliance
mandatory trainings within Vueling.
- Reviewing any type of contract or clause within a contract referring to
data protection.

**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- Support to the DPO for the registration in the ARP of new processing operations and updating of existing processing operations.
- Review and negotiation of data processing agreements with third parties.
- Support to the different business areas in any consultation related to data protection.
- Review and advice on contracts (interpretation).
- Creation of new model contracts and clauses.
- Management of passenger’s judicial claims for flight cancellations, delays, overbooking and loss of luggage,
- Coordinate and supervise the work of external lawyers in the different countries in which the Company works related to 261 claims.
- Gather all the information needed to defend the cases using the different systems (AIMS, Skyspeed, Salesforce) and contact other departments if it is necessary to request it.

**Education**
- Bachelor in Law.

**Experience**
- Initial experience in a Law firm or as an in-house lawyer in a multinational company is desired.
