Bax & Company is a leading European innovation
consultancy. We assemble, guide, and support public and
industry leaders through the early stage implementation
of their social innovation initiatives.

We are currently looking for a multimedia intern to join
our in-house multimedia production unit, Ideas That
Happen. You will work directly with the team in our
Barcelona headquarters.

The role

This role will have you participating in the design and
production of audiovisual content, gaining experience in
video editing and audio editing, including:

- Working with the audiovisual production team

to build and execute an effective video strategy,
suggesting video formats, guest speakers and
topics to reach the business’ intended audience
- Putting together pitches for video work with

clients
- Script-writing and research support for videos

and podcasts
- Booking high-impact guests for our internal

video production series, Ideas That Happen
- Filming and logistics support, including

pre-production and on-the-day video filming
support
- Supporting post-production including editing,

uploading and distribution.
- Assisting in the preparation of social media

posts and additional communications materials
to go with videos.
- Taking the lead on your own ideas to improve

audiovisual communications at Bax & Company.
- By the end of your internship at Bax & Company, you will
have a comprehensive portfolio of work to showcase the
skills you learned and your contribution to real-world
projects.

What we are looking for
- A curious, proactive, and driven individual who

the job. We expect you to contribute your own
ideas on how to improve our video production,
and take initiative to suggest formats and topics.
- While no specific academic background is

required, study in audiovisual production or
journalism would be highly valued.
- Any experience in video editing, audio editing,

or related fields would be a strong advantage,
- Experience with Adobe Suite, audiovisual editing

software such as Premiere Pro, Audition, Final
Cut or similar would be advantageous.
- Graphics experience with Photoshop or Canva

would also be a positive.
- B2 proficiency in English or better, both written

and spoken, is necessary as a large portion of
our assignments are performed in English.

- Develop an understanding of how to craft and

execute audiovisual communication strategies
that align with the mission and vision of a
diverse range of projects.
- Gain experience in the content creation process,

including video and podcast production. You will
learn how to clip and edit content, and create
engaging content for different platforms.
- Guidance and training from our lead video

producer, who has 10+ years experience in
journalism and filmmaking
- Hands-on experience with various video and

audio content creation tools, including Adobe
Premiere Pro, graphic design software, cameras
and microphones.
- Understand how to effectively respond to client

proposals and, when contracted, how to meet
their needs.
