**Your Role**:
CEA CAPA seeks applicants for an opportunity to work within the rewarding field of study abroad as a Housing Assistant. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for those passionate about fostering positive, transformative experiences for students from U.S. colleges and universities during their time abroad.

As a key member of our ten-person student support team, you will play an essential role in ensuring that students are set up for success, both in and outside their academic pursuits, by managing all aspects of their housing arrangements. This position requires an organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent project management skills, as well as a strong ability to empathize with and support students adjusting to life in a new country.

This role offers diverse responsibilities and the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple facets of international education. It is especially rewarding for individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy seeing students flourish as they navigate their study abroad journey.

**What You’ll Do**:
The job duties listed below are not all inclusive of what the employee may be responsible for. Other duties may be assigned.

Day-to-day tasks:

- Promptly address and resolve student housing issues, coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and upkeep.
- Offer day-to-day guidance to students, addressing their housing-related inquiries and ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the study abroad experience.
- Refer escalated or complex housing issues to the Housing Coordinator and/or Program Director for further intervention.
- Regularly inspect student accommodations to ensure they meet CEA CAPA’s standards for safety, cleanliness, furnishings, and amenities.
- Make informed and high-quality housing placements that align with students’ needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of housing equipment, including kitchen supplies, bed kits, and other housing-related items.
- Assist in organizing student arrivals, including airport pickups, and provide clear communication and housing orientation to ensure smooth transitions.
- Facilitate student move-ins and move-outs, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure the process is efficient and organized.
- in planning and executing housing turnover processes between student cohorts, ensuring accommodations are ready for the next group.
- Create, update, and distribute housing-related materials, including guidelines and orientation documents for students.
- Continuously research and evaluate potential new housing options to enhance CEA CAPA’s housing portfolio and offer diverse accommodations.
- Support in meeting with housing vendors and negotiating contracts, both short
- and long-term, to secure quality housing solutions.
- Maintain the Incidental Billing Report, promptly documenting any housing damage and ensuring accurate billing to students.
- Implement and uphold CEA CAPA’s housing policies, ensuring students understand and adhere to the guidelines.
- Actively engage in weekly or biweekly team meetings to discuss housing updates, student feedback, and continuous improvements.

Occasional tasks:

- Participate in the CEA CAPA emergency cell phone rotation
- Participate in welcoming visiting faculty
- Participate in activities and excursions as assigned

**Starting Salary**:€24,000
