The role of a People Manager is to help our team members realize their unique goals. Currently, we already have People Managers specializing in Design, Art, and Tech profiles. We are actively in search of a **People Manager** to provide **support to our team of producers.**
As a People Manager at IOI, your responsibilities include identifying, planning, and executing employees' career paths from recruitment through professional and personal development.
**What you will do**:
- Play a key role in building an organization that enables IOI to achieve its ambitious growth plans and sets an industry example for caring for its people.
- Ensure the proper implementation of employee processes defined by HR, including the feedback process, salary and appraisal talks, career development, action planning, and cross-functional development. Collaborate with HR on new ideas and process improvements.
- Stay in close contact with employees to identify their potential for development, strengths, and challenges, facilitating their growth.
- Participate in recruitment to define the needed profiles for different projects.
- Conduct interviews to assess the right skill and cultural match for individual technical teams.
- Contribute to the onboarding of new employees.
- Help manage producers' career paths by defining individual action plans for project transitions, promotions, skill training, and salary regulations.
- Oversee the producer's salary budget, constantly evaluating, classifying, and calibrating different senior levels and job roles.
- Handle challenging staffing duties, including addressing understaffing, resolving disputes, issuing warnings and layoffs, and managing disciplinary procedures.
**Who you are**:
- Proven experience as a Personnel Manager in a game or media studio.
- Demonstrated people management skills with a focus on development and growth.
- Experience with HR processes related to employee lifecycle management.
- Strong communication skills, an open and highly approachable nature.
- Strong conflict resolution skills - acknowledging the passion developers have for their products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Mandatory passion for video games.
- Ideally, you have training in mediation and conflict resolution.
