**About IFAE**:
The Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE) is a public consortium of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Autonomous Government of Catalonia, and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB, a public university) whose main objective is to carry out research and to contribute to the development of high energy physics from a theoretical, experimental and technological point of view. IFAE has the status of a “University Institute" attached to the UAB and its premises are within the campus of the University.

**About Theory Group**:
The Theory Group at the Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE), at the UAB Campus (Barcelona), is a vibrant international group working on Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) physics and Cosmology. Current members include D. Blas, E. Masso, C. Murgui, A. Pomarol, O. Pujolas, M. Quiros, F Rompineve and A. Wulzer. The group has an extended research record on BSM physics, collider physics, early universe cosmology, dark matter, gravitation, topological defects, axion physics, from both the phenomenological and theoretical sides.

**What will be your role?**:

- A Master’s degree in physics
- Fluent English written and oral skills
- Experience on phase transitions in the early universe, axions and superradiance
- Familiarity with software tools for symbolic and numerical calculations

**Evaluation criteria**:

- Previous experience: 60 points.
- Scientific excellence based on the CV: 40 points.

**Offered contract**:

- Full time contract (40 hours/week), from Monday to Friday.
- Temporary contract. The contract will have a duration approximately of two months.
- IFAE Professional category: “Tècnic (a)”
- Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications within the corresponding category range
