**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
As a Research Associate within BCG’s Data and Research Service (DRS) function, you will form an integral part of our European DRS team. Through the delivery of secondary research, you will contribute to BCG’s client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases and business or internal development initiatives.

BCG’s Industrial Goods practice serves three broad industrial segments: Automotive & Mobility, Greentech & Engineered Products, and Materials & Process Industries. As part of DRS - Industrial Goods team, we help clients think beyond the limits of their traditional business models, choose where and how they should add value, and reorganize to defend themselves against new threats and exploit new opportunities.

Working closely with more senior team members, you will engage with our Consulting and Knowledge Teams daily with the aim to understand, scope and deliver accurate, timely and relevant data and information

- You will have strong attention to detail by clarifying request objectives under direct supervision and discussing the most appropriate and timely research approach. You will do this whilst communicating directly with BCG stakeholders to evaluate and recommend the most efficient and successful research strategy per project

- Working closely with fellow DRS colleagues, you will approach all interactions with the highest level of quality and customer service. You will also guide outsourcing partners in their research analysis and do quality assurance

**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:

- Undergraduate Degree minimum (a preference for a degree in engineering and sciences)
- 0-2 year of relevant working experience, in Industrial Goods topics, preferably in Greentech & Engineered Products, such as industrial automation, machinery and components, mechanical engineering
- Excellent English and Spanish; and fluent German (preferred)

The Data and Research Services (DRS) function is a dynamic and highly visible center of excellence focused on business research and process innovation. We collaborate with our consulting teams to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and clients. DRS provides specialist research services to consulting teams and our Knowledge Team, taking deep pride in developing rapid and precise results.

DRS works with both qualitative and quantitative data, conducting research and providing synthesized results from over 100 commercial sources, publicly available data, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities and trade data.
