**YOUR MISSION**

We are seeking a talented and experienced Payroll Lead to join our team and oversee payroll operations in Spain.

**THE JOURNEY**
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Spain, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
- Coordinate with external vendors, such as payroll service providers and tax authorities, to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Payroll coordination - be the intermediary between HR, Finance, Legal and the outsourced payroll provider to ensure there is clear communication between departments for efficient payroll service
- Conduct periodic audits and reviews of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Supervise the payroll administration: collect all payroll-related information from managers & prepare, generate, check and submit payroll figures on a monthly basis
- Assist with special projects and initiatives related to payroll, including system upgrades and process improvements.

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE**
- Proven experience (at least 4 years) in payroll management, with specific expertise in Spanish payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish payroll, Social Security, tax regulation and administration
- Prior experience leading a team of payroll professionals, with excellent leadership and mentoring skills
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and Spanish
- Proactive, hands-on, and eager to get your hands dirty
- Detailed oriented - you are a freak when it comes to details
- Always looking for ways to improve the process and optimizing coordination between colleagues
