**About your opportunity...**

The Financial Affairs Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities for our subsidiary in Spain. He or she will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, budget management, as well as tax and legal compliance.

**A day in the life...**
- Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the financial stability of the Spanish entity.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Manage cash flow and optimise liquidity management.
- Drawing up financial forecasts and annual budgets.
- Analysing financial performance and proposing corrective action.
- Monitoring performance indicators and producing management reports.
- Implementing and monitoring internal control procedures.
- Ensuring the company's tax and legal compliance in Spain.
- Manage external and internal audits.
- Maintain relations with local tax authorities and regulators.
- Working with other departments to provide financial analysis and recommendations.
- Participate in development projects and strategic initiatives.
- Manage and develop a local finance team.
- Promote a culture of performance and ethical standards.

**Who you are...**
- University degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment.
- Excellent command of accounting and financial standards.
- In-depth knowledge of Spanish taxation.
- Mastery of financial management tools and ERP software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Bilingual/proficiency in Spanish and French, English is a highly regarded.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
