Process Scientist in Kenvue Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T)

This position reports into the Senior Manager MS&T Process Science EMEA and is based in Madrid (Spain).

**What You Will Do**

The Process Scientist External Manufacturers will support any activities related to the OTC manufacturing process at our External Manufacturers in the EMEA region. You will be responsible for an assigned portfolio of External Manufacturers (EM) and work very closely with our partners in External Make and External Quality Assurance.

Key Responsibilities***
- Engage in product remediation activities, including investigations of deviations and complaints at our EMs
- Overlook manufacturing process improvements and validation activities at our EMs
- Assess change controls coming from our EMs and build the technical strategy for implementation
- Support (drug product) process technical transfer teams and the introduction of new products at our EMs
- Develop and approve technical expert reports
- Review any technical documentation from our EMs such as manufacturing instructions, formula specifications etc.
- Ensure that adequate documentation is available to support the successful registration of projects.
- Work in cross-functional teams
- Perform analyses of technical data
- Assure appropriate risk management within the validation strategy
- Assure appropriate communication to stakeholders

**Qualifications**:
**What We Are Looking For**

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science within a relevant chemistry or pharmaceutical area.
- **4-7 years of experience in process and drug product development, **drug product manufacturing or related area within the pharmaceutical industry and technical knowledge is essential.
- Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical dosage forms such as t**ablets, liquids, creams & ointments**.
- The ability to grasp, understand and translate complex problems into explicit work packages.
- The capacity to influence others without direct line authority.
- Strong leadership skills and team spirit to collaborate with varied people at different levels
- You can work in autonomy while handling multiple priorities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Broad knowledge of validation requirements, especially Process and Packaging validation.
- Since we are working in an international organization, good verbal and written English is a prerequisite.
- Desired Qualifications
- Since the product portfolio is a global portfolio, extensive knowledge of worldwide requirements is merit
- Experience with Minitab or any other statistical data analysis tool is a plus
