**Join our team** We are looking for a **Credit Risk Analyst** in **Albasanz Office**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Enhancing risk strategy across the credit lifecycle, including origination, scorecard cut-off management, affordability assessment, limit management, and cross-product pre-approval
- Actively managing the risk and reward balance of credit risk strategy for our portfolio in the UK, utilizing internal and external data, and scoring models
- Understanding and developing key metrics to assess the performance of risk strategies
- Generating and delivering presentations on credit risk performance and significant trends
- Participating (providing business requirements) in building credit scoring models to drive growth and improve efficiency of the processes across the company
- Interaction with DWH, marketing, collection, reporting and IT

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, economics, computer science
- Some experience in unsecured credit risk lending and strategy development within consumer lending organizations
- Experience working with large data sets and using analysis/modelling to drive business results
- Experience with databases (SQL) and MS Excel skills
- Preferably, knowledge of Python for data analysis
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English (verbally and written)
- You are organized, detail-oriented, self-motived and creative professional
- Local resident of Spain or ready for relocation to Spain (Madrid)
