In the area of City, Territory and Environment we are looking for a researcher in urban planning, regeneration and decarbonisation with knowledge in the development of digital urban models, data processing and analysis, as well as experience in international projects, to participate in research projects with public administrations and companies

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
The selected person will be responsible for:

- Generate and develop innovative projects to integrate the use of digital tools and models in urban transformation processes, using data from various sources as well as model results.
- Interact with both public and private clients to develop proposals that respond to their needs.

- **Degree related to urban planning** (architecture, urban planning or engineering), **and Master's degree related to data analysis (**statistical, geospatial, AI, Big Data, etc.) or similar.
- **At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of urban plannin**g.
- Solvency in the use of Geographic Information Systems (geospatial processing, QGIS, ArcGIS).
- Programming skills for data processing, analytics and visualisation (Python, R, Javascript, GIT, FME, etc.).
- Database or DBMS management (SQL; Postgis, Postgres, etc.).
- Fluency in English and Spanish as usual working languages.
- Availability and flexibility to travel frequently depending on the needs of the projects in which he/she is involved.

**COMPLEMENTARY SKILLS**:

- Experience in the use of energy planning software (LEAP, Energy Plan, etc.).
- Knowledge of web GIS (Azuremaps, Leaflet, Openlayers, etc.).
- Business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Grafana, etc.)
- Experience in applied research projects in international consortia.
- Knowledge or experience in other fields related to urban planning (renaturation, mobility and accessibility).

**PERSONAL SKILLS**:

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Initiative, proactivity.
- Ability to work as part of a team, and clear results orientation.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with other members of a multidisciplinary team, partners, clients, etc.
