Risk Analysis Intern -Tarragona

**General Job Function**:
Support Probabilistic Safety Assessments (PSA) for nuclear power plant systems, evaluating plants potential vulnerability to all risk and hazard types (i.e., seismic, fire, flooding, etc.) for domestic and international plants.

**Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority)**:

- **Perform PSA tasks, using software tools such as RiskSpectrum and CAFTA**
- **Perform database population and data analysis for various programs**
- **Perform code validation testing activities**
- **Coaching by experienced engineers**
- **Thorough documentation of analyses**

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:

**Graduate Student, Focusing on Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or Nuclear Engineering**

- Familiarity with Probabilistic Safety Assessment
- Fluent in English with proven writing skills
- Strong technical interest, predisposition for multi-tasking, flexibility, understanding of project priorities and teamwork abilities required.
- Database management and data analysis skills considered a plus
- Interest in software programming and code development, while not required, is considered a benefit
