**Intern, Digital Banking Growth and Marketing** **- 6 months full time - Madrid, Spain**

Western Union launched a Digital Banking Service and a Digital Wallet in several markets in Europe as part of a global initiative to enhance our customers’ experiences and build closer relationships by offering a state-of-the-art digital ecosystem. In this unique role, you will have the opportunity to learn from experts and play an important role in bringing our innovative, new digital banking product to the European market. While gaining valuable insights in the finance industry and thinking creatively, you will be working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to contributing to your growth and success in our newly established Digital Banking Hub in Madrid.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Together with the Strategy & Operations Leader, you will prepare, implement, and embed an operational plan in line with the Digital Bank vision and wider Western Union strategy.
- You will plan, monitor, and develop operational delivery (Customer Care, Payments flows, etc), design and implement key performance indicators, and track progress against plan.
- Provide support for the launch of digital banking across new countries in Europe and subsequent growth initiatives with Country Leaders in Germany, Italy, and future launches.
- Collaborate across our four key pillars - Growth, Product, Engineering and Operations to ensure success of the Madrid hub that we are building.
- Manage key product partnerships with vendors and third parties to ensure smooth delivery and operations across Europe.

**Role Requirements**
- Work closely with the Go-to-Market team and global marketing professionals, contributing to activate new customers, convert remittances customers to the Digital Bank and execute on marketing campaigns on a regional level.
- Gathering information and measures against defined KPI targets you support the Head of Ecosystem and GTM teams by translating data into insights to drive decision making across all marketing channels.
- Analytics: monitor KPIs, conduct analyses to better understand customers, funnels, prioritization of growth/marketing/product initiatives.
- Understand competitive set and create market segmentation, targeting, positioning; collaborate with marketing team on offers/promotions, acquisition and lifecycle marketing.
- CX: understand needs of customers, develop and champion optimizations.
- Product: help evolve value proposition and features, provide input to product team to aid with development of product road map and prioritizations.
- Partnerships/BD: identify potential partner opportunities and collaborate with BD team to prioritize, pursue, close.
- You’ll be monitoring and interacting with existing analytical dashboards and work with the team to develop, implement and drive customized reporting setups, prepare business review decks and support marketing operations by monitoring and optimizing customer segmentation, digital campaigns and drive and ensure the integrity of data.
