We’re looking for an experienced team of artificial intelligence engineers to join the revolution, using deep learning, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), computer vision, chatbots, and robotics to help us improve various business outcomes and drive innovation. The engineer will join a small multidisciplinary team helping to shape our AI strategy and showcasing the potential for AI through early-stage solutions.

**What will you do on your journey with WebBeds?**
WebBeds is the world’s fastest growing provider of accommodation distribution services to the travel industry. Our products incorporate distribution APIs, payment integrations, ERP integration, Data Lakes, User Interfaces, and others. Our search API reach peaks of more than 50.000 requests per second, each one consisting of tens or hundreds of hotels, with continued expansion.

This translates to the use of latest technology including.NET Core versions, K8S, microservices architecture, clouds hosting and orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Proactive monitoring, and alerting systems, to name a few.

Our teams consist of product owners, QA engineers, Software Engineers, and people from across the business all working collectively and collaboratively. WebBeds aims to be at the forefront of digital reinvention within the B2B travel space, helping our suppliers & customers reimagine how we serve their journey to reduce time, increase efficiencies & reach the highest level of service through the use of AI.

**Objectives of this role**:
The AI engineer is responsible for designing, tuning and maintaining Machine Learning systems. Duties involve assessing and organizing data, executing tests and experiments, and monitoring and optimizing machine learning processes to help develop strong performing machine learning systems.
- Tuning, maintenance and tuning of AI systems in production.
- Helping to design, develop, and research AI systems, models, and schemes.
- Train & retrain AI systems and models as needed.
- Perform statistical analysis and use results to improve models.
- Verify data quality and ensuring it via data cleansing.
- Visualise data for deeper insights.

- Strong foundations in Big data, Statistics, Linear Algebra and Neural Networks
- Experience within cloud environments
- Attention to detail with robust analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline.
