We run a program for guests that includes guided walks, yoga, meditation, workshops, creativity classes, rebounding, dance classes and much more. This is a unique and exciting opportunity. We are looking for an experienced, friendly, professional, well-organized and dynamic Housekeeping Manager who will report to the General Manager or Shift Manager. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring that the housekeeping department and the retreat property operates efficiently and effectively on a day-to-day basis through the management of the housekeeping team. He/she will ensure that the team achieves the highest level of cleanliness in both apartments and common areas. Overall presentation of the entire retreat in accordance with retreat standards. You will be responsible for controlling and managing department related costs in accordance with budget, procure all products in accordance with the retreat's supply policy and control usage in accordance with agreed specifications.

This is very much a hands-on role, with scope, responsibility and a strong focus on providing excellent customer service, apartment development, staff development and training through strong team leadership, overseeing job performance, championing and implementing the recall policies and procedures through effective management. You will be in charge of scheduling, and maintaining a calm, professional and safe environment at the retreat at all times.

You will also assist in decision making, so that staff know where to direct their questions, problems and complaints that may arise.

Housekeeping Manager Requirements:

- 2 years or more experience in similar position.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of basic Hotel Property Management Systems.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail
- Professional in all aspects
- Language: Fluent Spanish and English a plus.
- Proactive approach to dealing with problems that may arise.
- Highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize and work under pressure.
- Personnel management
- Attractive salary per agreement

This is a direct shift position; the position will include working weekends and early mornings.
