- Barcelona**What We Are Looking for**:

- A motivated
- **postdoctoral researcher** to work on the UrbanKids project (Urban and social environment and childhood obesity - a natural moving2health experiment) funded by LaCaixa’s Social Research Call and led by Martine Vrijheid, research professor and head of the Childhood and Environment programme of ISGlobal. UrbanKids will study how changes in the urban and social environment affect weight gain and obesity in children. The project will use a natural/quasi-experimental approach, focusing on whether moving to a different residential location can have a long-term impact on body weight trajectories and obesity risk. Exposures of interest are air pollution, green spaces, walkability, food environment, etc. The project will use electronic health records from primary care data containing repeated height/weight records of over 1 million Catalan children.-
**Training and experience**:

- PhD in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated record of scientific achievement in epidemiology or environmental health
- Experience in statistical analyses, including models with longitudinal analysis.
- Experience in childhood obesity research or urban environment research will be an asset.

**Main duties and tasks**:

- Contribute to the study design and analysis protocols
- Conduct statistical analyses related to the main objectives of UrbanKids
- Draft original articles for publication in high impact journals
- Collaborate with all project partners
- Liaise with stakeholders in the field of childhood obesity and urban environment
- Contribute to the dissemination of results
