Tooling Buyer

From P&PD engineering (ATS Global), we are currently looking for a Tooling Buyer to work for one of our clients, an important company in the wind energy sector, based in Navarra. The engineer will have a hybrid working modality

About the role:

- Negotiations with suppliers from all over the world (mainly Europe)
- Be in contact with other departments (tooling, engineering, quality) to ensure that the demand is covered in time and with the right quality.
- Mastering sourcing process (source to contract and procurement to pay)
- Process purchase orders.
- Collaborate with new tooling developments.
- Reporting.

About the profile:

- Experience in strategic sourcing and category management from a relevant industry. At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Good at managing people networks.
- Strong in negotiation skills.
- Project management skills.
- Excellent communication with people with various cultural backgrounds.
- Structured, systematic and transparent approach to business processes.
- Good at prioritizing and staying calm under pressure.
- Solution focussed mindset.
- Fast learner, able to endure pressure, team player, very good English skills (need to be able to negotiate in English).
- University degree, preferably from a technical branch.
- Fluent Spanish and English.
- (Very good English level (C1), a B2 level of other languages is a plus (German, Turkish, Chinese).
- Skills in Office software: Excell, Powerpoint, Teams.

Aptitudes y conocimientos deseados:

- Engineer degree - At least 3-4 years of experience in the field of buying - Fluency in Spanish and English (able to negotiate in both languages)
