Job PurposeUnder the general direction of the line manager, the cleaners will work as part of a team to perform a variety of regular and one-off cleaning tasks and duties.

**Responsibilities**:
The main responsibility will be to provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the School. for that purpose, they have:

- To work according to the instruction of the line manager or other member of staff with the responsibility of coordinating their job.
- To be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of their designated area and for maintaining high and consistent standards.
- Take initiative to perform cleaning and tidying tasks that are not specifically contained within the rota but require attention as part of maintaining overall high standards.
- Report cleaning supplies requirements and stock levels to the line manager.
- Ensure Health & Safety, quality and general procedure compliance.
- To wear the proper uniform.
- To provide the documentation requested by the school.
- Work as part of a team and support other members of the cleaning team to meet standards and school objectives.
- Report any Health and Safety issues to the Supervisor.
- To be aware of knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations as they relate to the operation of cleaning equipment and the dilution of cleaning materials.
- Completes work in a timely manner Adapts quickly to new ways of doing things
- Identifies and appreciates the urgency and importance of different tasks
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
- To make every effort to avoid absence.
