Within PPG we have the opportunity for SAP FiCo Senior Analyst. The position will be working as part of the Global SAP Centre of Excellence. Within a matrix organization you will report to the Finance Manager while providing global functional support to Finance & Controlling. This position has a dual purpose of leading small projects and long term support which will includes hands on resolution of incidents, system enhancement requests, and project support. You will liaise remotely with a number of your colleagues across the globe whilst having the opportunity to be based at one of PPG’s EMEA locations. Your scope will be global for our Architectural Coatings, Protective and Marine Coatings and Industrial Coatings business units. There will be the opportunity to travel due to the scope of your role and we expect travel to be approximately 25% of your time.

**Key Responsibilities**
- From the moment you start you will be proactive in obtaining good working relationships with the other SAP colleagues/consultants focusing on Finance across the globe
- You will be required to immediately provide support and contribute to projects to ensure a stable and effective model around these SAP modules after a brief acclimation period.
- You will be expected to be familiar with the specific solutions implemented by PPG within 6 month timeframe.

**Qualifications**
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
- A degree in Information Management, Computer Science or other business-related field is required
- 6 years’ experience with strong process knowledge of SAP finance & controlling, understanding of AA, AR, AP, GL and CO processes, as well as general SAP ECC knowledge.
- Hands on operational skills in FiCo.
- An outstanding self-starter with a commitment to delivering high quality work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Broad analytical and technical skills to isolate problems, assess their criticality, identify solutions, and implement complete solutions.
- Be comfortable working independently in a “remote working” organization without close supervision.

**Your knowledge of SAP must include**:

- Deep understanding of SD / MM process integration to SAP FiCo processes.
- Extensive experience in the process design, configuration, support and trouble-shooting of SAP FiCO modules with intra/cross company business flows part of a complex globally supply chain distribution network.
- Implementation of localisations related to local tax and financial reporting requirements (e.g. SAF-T & E-Invoicing) for countries such as Portugal, Spain, Poland, Romania, Italy etc.

**Preferred requirements with knowledge or experience with the following**:

- SAP S/4 HANA and/or connections to SAP cloud solutions (e.g. Ariba, Concur).
- Experience in a Finance position
- SAP FiCo Full life-cycle implementation experience is ideal - design, development, go-live
- Experience using SAP Solution Manager toolset for managing changes, transports and incidents is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP eDocument solution
