Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels - Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiative. - Executive level written and oral communication skills, leveraging analytical and quantitative skills to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases - Team player who has the ability to organize and manage multiple program managers and tasks simultaneously and can facilitate successful project work, operating to deadlines - Fluent English essential. Knowledge in other European languages will be an advantage - Advanced knowledge of analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, MS Excel, or Microsoft Access - Willing to travel within EU when required

Key job responsibilities

The EU AMXL ReLo Program Team overseas the Reverse Logistics operations across EU, driving operational excellence and process compliance efforts. We aim to bring an end-to-end approach to AMXL Reverse Logistics that includes our capabilities across ReLo Ops and ReLo Trans, while also integrating a quality and vendor returns focus.

We're looking for Program Managers to deliver large and medium scale projects and programs within the Last and Middle mile EU AMXL Returns network. You will be responsible for managing significant operational and service growth across the European Operations and work with cross-functional and cross-departmental teams to understand the business and identify customer needs.

A day in the life

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead a team of Program Managers that secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and deliver on-time
- Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations
- Deliver a comprehensive analytics capability to forensically investigate our processes, operations and technical systems, providing detailed, data-driven insight to shape our program and operational decisions
- Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions
- Designing program mechanisms to reduce bottlenecks, improve communication, identify risks, and gather feedback from a wide range of worldwide stakeholders
- Develop regular program communication, including launch plans, timelines, status updates, post-launch assessments and performance reviews
- Manage post-launch support plans (e.g., post-mortem, issue/ticket management, etc.) and look for opportunities to improve program quality and operational excellence
- Rolling up your sleeves to help get things done: we want to go big
- Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across a range of businesses

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care. Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble and install them, and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety, productivity and innovation, we’re changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.

We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.
