**About the Role**

Our Digital Workplace team is looking for a motivated Microsoft 365 Security Engineer who is ready for an exciting career. As a Microsoft 365 Security Engineer, you will help our employees by providing a secure, reliable, and efficient communication and collaboration platform based on Microsoft 365 (Office 365) Cloud Services. Main duties:

- Understand and translate compliance/security requirements from stakeholders into tasks for technical implementation, including impact analysis by partnering and working with the Cyber Defence Center (CDC) and other security stakeholders in the company.
- Development of Microsoft Office 365 Security platform including analysis and configuration of DMARC, SPF, DKIM, DLP, MIP and ATP.
- Continuous improvement of security controls and monitoring across all DWP Cloud services and Microsoft endpoints, staying on top of security and compliance related roadmap from Microsoft and other relevant players.
- Management of security related incidents and alerts according to Swiss Re requirements.
- Educate Digital Workplace to become more mature in cloud security matters, including creation of run books, training and knowledge transfer
- Drive operational excellence and automation wherever possible

**About You**

Required skills:

- Strong hands-on knowledge and good understanding on of Enterprise security, Defender for M365/ATP, Threat analytics and related Microsoft products and services, including Microsoft 365 Exchange Online services, Exchange 2016 servers, Exchange online protection, Defender of O365/ATP and Microsoft Phishing solutions
- Knowledge on Graph API, Azure Functions, Azure API management, Azure Logic Apps and Azure SQL
- Extensive experience of the Office 365 ecosystem and neighbouring Azure functionality
- Solid automation skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT security and Microsoft workplace products
- Motivated with hands-on mentality and can-do attitude
- Feels comfortable in complex environments and is ok to challenge colleagues and breaking status quos

If you also have the following experience and interests, it is a huge plus:

- Experience in a global, multi-national enterprise, preferably with experience in the insurance and financial sector.
- Experience in working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
