**Position Description**:
**Your future duties and responsibilities**:

- Serve as a license analyst, maintaining expertise in Microsoft software licensing, compliance, software maintenance agreements.
- Produce license analysis ensuring compliance with software license agreements;
- Monitor and enforce proper software usage policies and guidelines;
- Conduct effective license positions (ELPs) to identify variances between deployed and licensed software, ensuring deployed software aligns with the licensing models purchased and usage terms and conditions. Provide guidance in rectifying variances;
- Ensure that there is no non-compliance, excessive or unwarranted software usage and work with operational/project teams to resolve compliancy issues;
- Evaluate and recommend options to reduce licensing costs
- Assist in vendor compliance audits as required;
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

**Required qualifications to be successful in this role**:

- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and French;
- Experience with MS Office tools (especially Excel);
- Experience with Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite is an asset;
- Knowledge of the different Microsoft Licensing Models including but not limited to: Volume Licensing Agreements, Software Provider License Agreement (SPLA), Self-Hosting Program, Azure, Visual Studio, O365;
- Awareness of software licensing management and agreements, the types of software licenses and commercial models, interpreting contract language and compliance of various software publishers (specifically Microsoft);
- Knowledge of financial concepts and practices as they relate to software license and contract management;
- Ability to communicate effectively (technical and non-technical).
