**Fresh remote engineering role with SwipeGuide, now part of L2L following our acquisition in August 2024**

We are now searching for a Full-Stack Engineer with **strong mobile experience**.

Stack: React, React Native, NodeJs, Node.js, GraphQL, Postgresql, Expo, iOS, Android, Apple Developer, Google Developer, Xcode, Jenkins, JavaScript, Typescript.

L2L recently acquired **SwipeGuide**, a European trailblazer in **mobile-first frontline training** and visual job aids for the manufacturing workforce. Together, we empower our customers by delivering actionable data and powerful frontline training solutions that enable every worker to perform like a seasoned pro.

**OUR TEAM**

As part of the **L2L Engineering** department, you will work on the **SwipeGuide** product as a Fullstack Engineer with mobile expertise, reporting directly into the Senior Director of Engineering. You will work closely with L2L engineers (over 30+ of them) but your day-to-day is with a small team of engineers focussing on the SwipeGuide platform and mobile apps. We are all spread across The Netherlands, Spain, Nigeria, Macedonia and the US.
- We are a remote organisation with co-working spaces and office spaces in the US, Spain and The Netherlands.
- The **SwipeGuide Product/Engineering**team meets in a co-working space in Barcelona from time to time with opportunities to also meet up in Lisbon, Madrid, and Valencia.

**YOUR ROLE AS THE FULLSTACK ENGINEER AT L2L/SWIPEGUIDE**

In the upcoming year, you will help **lead** key product initiatives in the company’s mobile strategy, including the consolidation of separate customer facing apps into a single generic app that will serve all customers, and creating scalable UI component library both in React and React Native.

We need a **flexible** and **well rounded** full stack engineer who can adapt to business needs and help shape the future of the apps for our frontline workers, ensuring a consistent and user friendly experience across all mobile and responsive environments.

***Your responsibilities include**:

- **NOTE**: Depending on the roadmap, you may be working on either responsive/mobile web **OR** native apps
- Write clean and maintainable **frontend** and **backend** code in **JavaScript** and **TypeScript**
- Participate and provide input during the entire product development lifecycle including design, development, deployment, and maintenance of new and existing features.
- Write clean and functional code on the backend, while keeping in mind important considerations for scalability such as **security**, **performance**, and **maintainability**
- Troubleshoot, **debug**, and **monitor** software for performance and quality (ex: We use Grafana, Sentry, Papertrail, etc.)
- Keeping the app up to date with the **upgrading** to the latest plugins, packages, and other dependencies
- Provide **code reviews** and leading by example with best practices for clean, maintainable code
- Collaborate daily with cross functional team of software engineers, DevOps Engineers, Data analysts, QA, product managers, and designers

**ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES FOR THE FULLSTACK ENGINEER AT L2L/SWIPEGUIDE**
- Extensive experience in independently managing and updating build and deployment processes for mobile apps
- Expertise with **React and React Native**
- Expertise working with **Expo**
- Experience working with Xcode and Android Studio or similar
- Experience with variety of testing frameworks for e2e testing (ex: Detox), integration, and unit testing (ex: Jest)
- Experience working with **GraphQL**or other APIs
- Experience with** iOS**and **Android** app distribution tools, such as Google Developer, Apple Developer, and Firebase
- Experience working with **agile development practices**such as Kanban or Scrum
- Experience with **collaborative engineering**methods (ex: pair programming).
- Ability to work **remotely** full-time with mínimal in-person contact.
