**Responsibilities**:
Analyze complex datasets to propose the right data modeling technique or approach based on requirements
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Power BI Engineers, and Data Architects in the construction and optimization of Databricks medallion architecture layers (Silver and Gold) and sources consolidation.
Own, optimize and evolve existing data models to improve performance and accuracy.
Design and implement data marts based on different consumption methodologies (Power BI, API, ML, etc.) to ensure high-performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics techniques and tools.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Data Analyst role.
Skills to interpret and transform business requirements, processes, business goals and rules into conceptual, logical, and physical database design.
Strong proficiency in multiple data modeling and optimization techniques and understanding their benefits and weaknesses.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and manipulation.
Experience with Databricks and Spark.
Strong communication skills and used to work with business departments to understand the data value.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Must be able to work under pressure when necessary.
Self-motivated and proactive in the working environment.
Nice to have
Data Architecture design skills and experience in modeling enterprise data in a data warehouse or data lake.
Experience working in a similar environment/sector (Financial Services).
Knowledge of Databricks optimization techniques.
Visualization and data modeling best practices skills in Power BI.
