An opportunity for a **Senior Accountant **has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe ( **Madrid **).

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The jobholder will be responsible for:

- Management of the full Financial and support/knowledge on the Cost Accounting cycle for Airbus Cádiz sites.
- Responsible for financial audit coordination and accounting deliverables of Airbus Cádiz.
- Coordination and review of the Airbus Cádiz new Business monthly closings.
- Monthly reporting preparation (P&L, etc.) for Airbus Cádiz business (Common, but focused on Specific activity).
- Ensure compliance including documentation of the Internal Controls for the extended Cadiz perimeter
- Maintain relationship and support/coordinate with different internal stakeholders (controlling, Taxes, HR, Legal, Consolidation team, Treasury, Financial Systems, etc.) - coordinate and align multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Maintain relationships, support or deliver surveys to different external stakeholders (Governmental Agencies, Banco de España, etc.).
- Ensure accounting compliance with Local (PGC) and Airbus Group (IFRS) standards and coordination with Technical Accounting.
- Able to take leadership in Ad hoc projects as needed: improvement of accounting processes, financial systems improvement and digitalization, M&A, etc.

- Wide knowledge in accounting, people management and multidisciplinary teams’ experience.
- At least 5 years of Big4 audit experience within the aeronautical, automotive or industrial manufacturing industry.
- Desired experience as main/single senior accountant in a multinational company.
- Accounting certifications desired (such us ROAC, ACCA or CPA).
- English business proficiency and native Spanish speaker. French and / or German would be a plus.
- Full proficiency with IFRS and PGC accounting standards.
- Microsoft Office and “Google Office” (GSheet, GDocs, etc.) proficiency required
- Desired knowledge of SAP ERP:

- SAP S1HANA with experience in modules FI, FA & CO (including cost accounting closing).
- SAP Group reporting tools (FACT+)
- SAP Database (IFRP, BW, etc.).
- Extensive experience in the following accounting fields: General Ledger, AR (invoicing), AP & Payment process (payables), Payroll and Taxes (VAT, CIT, WHT, etc.).
- Audit experience and knowledge on internal controls standards, documentation and preparation.
