**Service Engineer Mechanical**

We are looking for a **Service Engineer Mechanical** with a main responsibility in performing Field Service activities on 4-Stroke Marine Engines and Propulsion Systems.

The preferred location for this position is in Valencia, Spain.

**Your role and responsibilities**

As **Service Engineer Mechanical** your work will include travelling, working on-site (mainly marine installations) in new installations or participating during standard or major overhauls.

The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You'll be working as a part of the Field Service Team in Spain. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support of our operation and technical offices.

**Requirements for the position**
- Good knowledge of Written and Spoken English.
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering, especially on Wartsila's 4-stroke engines & Propulsion systems.
- Experience in Troubleshooting, Overhauls and commissioning.
- Knowledge of Auxiliary Equipment.
- Availability to travel (around 80% of the time).
- Good communication and cooperation skills, especially in multicultural environments.
- Attention to safety.
- Experience in team working.
- Reporting skills.
- Experience in dealing directly with Clients.
- Time management and ability to work under pressure.
