Electrical Engineer

**Role Description**

Energiot invites an experienced Electrical Engineer for Product Development, preferably with familiarity in the Distribution or Transmission System Operator domain. Operating primarily from Barcelona with the flexibility of occasional remote work, your role is pivotal in understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced in the maintenance and operation of the power grid. You will not only provide valuable inputs for product enhancement but also be the bridge between our team and clients for seamless project implementation. As the authority on power grid intricacies, your insights will be invaluable in refining and conceptualizing innovative solutions tailored to grid operators.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years experience addressing challenges encountered by grid operators.
- In-depth understanding of Distribution or Transmission System Operations.
- Strong experience in both software and hardware aspects of grid management.
- Languages: Fluent in both English and Spanish.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Offer vital insights to the team, directing product enhancement strategies.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring seamless project implementation.
- Channel expertise in IoT, ideally from a stint in the IoT department of grid operators, or roles in innovation and maintenance within the sector.
- Guide the company in crafting and refining effective use cases.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of IoT devices, preferably with hands-on experience.
- A proactive and business-oriented mindset.
