**Quality Technician**

**The Quality Technician will be responsible for**:
Management and investigation of internal and supplier non-conformities and incidents, monitoring non-conformities of products, as well as issuing certificates of analysis and declarations of conformity under the ISO 9001 quality system and the standard BRC/Packaging.

**Functions and responsibilities**:

- Management of internal and supplier non-conformities and incidents: opening, treatment, root-cause analysis, action plans, monitoring and closure.
- Communication with suppliers, both national and international, to follow on incidents and non-conformities.
- Management of all returns received in LIQUIBOX (everything related to the product) and internal reclassifications.
- Collaboration in maintaining the Quality Management System as well as the Food Safety and Packaging Protection System. (Duties include support in the establishment, implementation and maintenance of the existing System processes).
- Training in Quality and Food Safety for new hires and other associates in order to maintain the quality company culture.
- Maintenance of product data sheets (internal/external) as well as the issuance of Certificates of Analysis, Declarations of Conformity (food compliance), customer questionnaires and documentary control of suppliers.

**Requirements**:

- Education: Degree in chemistry (preferably plastics), materials and industry.
- Knowledge of food packaging (requirements, legislation, etc.).
- Specific training in statistical quality control techniques, computer-based tools, ISO standards (9001, 14000, 22000, BRC / Packaging or similar).
- Experience: 3 years of experience in industrial production/manufacturing. ¿in production/manufacturing industry?
- ¿Computer skills?: Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
- Languages: Fluent in English & Spanish (C1).
