Digital Platform Area Leader

Our client is a world's leading steel and mining company which devots time and energy to unlock the full potential of big data to generate substantial environmental benefit and cost reduction for the company, their customers and consumers, and the world.

Following the restructuration of the Digital solutions department, my client is looking for a Digital Platform Area Leader.

**MISSIONS**

As a Digital Platform Area Leader, you will lead a team of 9 highly qualified researchers with high expertise in conducting R&D projects related to IoT, Big data and Cloud computing in order to:

- Explore cutting-edge technologies associated with big data and cloud-based technology stacks
- Support the evolution of the big data platform by identifying technologies to be incorporated
- Support the development of data-driven solutions across the company providing knowledge and components able to be used by researchers and IT teams in the group's plants.
- Support the connection between the company's Big data and IoT platforms.
- Participate in forums and meetings inside the company to communicate results, shared practices and the evolution of the big data platform

**REQUIRED **PROFILE**

**ACADEMIC SPHERE**

Master Degree in quantitative field: Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics or Telecommunications. A previous experience with IoT and/or Cloud computing is preferable. Moreover, you have at least 5 years of experience in cross-functional team management in a data-driven environnement.

**TECHNICAL SPHERE**
- Experience with Big Data frameworks and libraries
- Experience (certifications are a plus) with cloud provider stacks (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with IoT
- Experience with specialized Machine Learning services and technology stacks (Azure ML, AWS Sagemaker,...)
- DevOps and MLOps knowledge
- Fluency in English
