**The Role**

To thrive in your role, you need to have an academic background in the technical field and initial working experience with data analytics, large databases, and complex data sets. You are a fast learner, detail-oriented, have a growth mindset, and can turn data into valuable insights. You communicate effectively with stakeholders and can deliver high-quality results within a tough timeline. You are comfortable working remotely in an international environment.

**What You’ll Do**
- Assure that data quality and compliance meet our high standards
- Extract data from databases (e.g., Redshift, Mongo DB)
- Analyze large data sets and generate insights
- Modify existing SQL scripts to meet product needs
- Identify data gaps and quality issues
- Root cause analysis
- Build and maintain a technical data model (entity relationship diagram)
- Create customized reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders

**Requirements**:

- University degree in an analytical or technical field, e.g., bioinformatics, computer science, applied mathematics
- 1+ years of working experience in data analysis or data quality
- Intermediate level of SQL (joins of multiple tables, subqueries, subquery factoring)
- Experience working with large databases and data sets
- Confident spreadsheet user (pivot tables, nested formulas)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

**Nice to Have**
- Work experience in life science, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or MedTech
- Data analysis tools (KNIME)
- Database technologies (Redshift, NoSQL/MongoDB)
- Programming (Python, R)
- Data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
