**The company**: our customer, Insud Pharma is a pharmaceutical group with a track record spanning over 45 years and a footprint in more than 55 countries, more than 10,000 employees and factories in different countries worldwide.

**Description of the position**:
We are looking for an Infrastructure & Technology Manager to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business.

Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological (Clouds, On Premises Datacenters, Communications, SAP Basis and Workplace trends).

Your role will be to ensure secure, efficient, and stable operations of our IT infrastructure that supports business functions.

**Organizational position**: Reporting to the Transformation & Technology Director (CIO) (located in Madrid).

**Key Responsibilities and tasks**:
Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
Supervise & ensure that whole system & technology infrastructure work fine and efficiency.
Design, plan, implement and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, networks, and related software.
Evaluate the existing systems and provide technical direction to IT support staff.
Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provide expert support when necessary.
Implement and maintain policies and goals that further the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, Intranet, Wireless implementations, etc.
Leading & Managing Technological Internal Projects.
Build quality assurance and data protection processes.
Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.
Communicate technology strategy to your team and the rest of business stakeholders.
Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships.
Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and when making hiring decisions.
Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs.
Develop, track and control the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations.
Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy internal financial targets.
Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence.
Consolidate our technology Teams and create plans for each one, retaining talent.
Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics.
Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.
Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape.
Work closely with Business, Development and Operations to define and deliver new technology and enhancements.

**Working Experience**:
Previous working experience as a CTO (Chief Technology Officer) for more than 5 years in the industrial sector. Experience in the Pharma Industry will be a plus.
Hands-on experience with complex project management.
Experience leading high performance teams.

**Professional skills**:
**Mandatory skills**:
Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructures (Clouds, DataCenters, Data Bases, Networks, Virtualization, workplace, etc.).
Understanding & experience of budgets and business-planning.
Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
Effective negotiation and vendor management skills.
Excellent communication skills.

Additional skills non mandatory, but valuable for the position:
Desirable knowledge about SAP Technology/SAP Basis from IT Systems perspective.

**Education and Training**:
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
MSc/MA will be appreciated.

**Languages**:
**Spanish**: Native language, otherwise business fluent
**English**: Very good Business English required (B2).

**Job Conditions**:
**Job location**: Madrid, working from home allowed 1 day a week.

**Expected travel**:
8-10 trips worldwide (2-3 days) a year.

**Employment Type**: Permanent Full Time.

**Salary**: Depending on experience.
