Reporting to the Technical Director, the professional to be hired will be part of the Satellite Engineering team at HISPASAT and will have the following main responsibilities:

- Coordinate, plan, and execute orbital mechanics activities for the geostationary satellite system: orbit determination, maneuver calculations, placement, analysis, and evaluation of potential collisions between satellites and other objects.
- Conduct mission analysis studies for satellite projects: relocations, deorbiting, new programs, constellations.
- Develop tools for advanced telemetry data analysis to automate and enhance satellite security.
- Plan and support the execution of necessary procedures for in-orbit maintenance.
- Respond to and recover from possible anomalies in satellites.
- Provide support for the development of new projects.
- Assume additional responsibilities related to satellite orbital operations activities as determined.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in Aeronautics, Physics, Telecommunications, or a similar field.
- High proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Interest in the space industry.
- Experience in mission analysis in GEO and LEO, including constellation design.
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Matlab, or similar).
- Experience in attitude control systems.
- Additional knowledge in space propulsion systems and satellite operations is desirable.
- Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning is desirable.

Dependiente de la Dirección Técnica el profesional a contratar formará parte del equipo de Ingeniería de Satélites de HISPASAT, y tendrá como principales responsabilidades:
1. Coordinar, planificar y ejecutar, las actividades de mecánica orbital del sistema de satélites geoestacionarios: determinación de órbita, cálculo de maniobras, colocación, análisis y evaluación de posibles colisiones entre los satélites y terceros objetos.

2. Realizar estudios de análisis de misión en proyectos de satélites: recolocaciones, deorbitados, nuevos programas, constelaciones.

3. Desarrollar herramientas para el análisis avanzado de datos de telemetría con el fin de automatizar y aumentar la seguridad de los satélites.

4. Planificar y soportar la ejecución de los procedimientos necesarios para el mantenimiento en órbita.

6. Proporcionar soporte al desarrollo de nuevos proyectos.

7. Asumir las responsabilidades adicionales que se determinen en lo referente a las actividades relacionadas con las operaciones orbitales de los satélites..

**Requisitos**:
Máster Universitario en Aeronáutica, Físicas, Telecomunicaciones, o similar.

Nível alto de inglés y español.

Interés por el mundo espacial.

Experiência en análisis de misión en GEO y LEO incluyendo diseño de constelaciones.

Conocimientos de programación (Python, Matlab o similar).

Experiência en sistemas de control de actitud.

Valorables conocimientos en sistemas de propulsión espacial y operaciones satelitales.

Valorables conocimientos en analítica de datos y machine learning.
