Rhenus Road Freight's product portfolio ranges from groupage, part and full loads to hazardous goods and special transports and offers its customers industry-specific full-service packages.
The position consists of managing the Road Freight Product Transport Related Warehousing (TRW) across Europe, including the implementation of the existing business plan and the growth action plan 2025, in coordination with the countries.
**What you can expect**:
- Leadership of the European Transport Related Warehousing (TRW) Steering Committee and Member as TRW representative on the ESMT (European Sales & Marketing Team).
- Coordination with the European Sales Team for business development and sales leads management.
- Management of the strategic innovation projects for product development.
- Alignment of the Sales MSO / Sales controlling principles and ensuring full transparency of the P&L for the product, along with the consolidation of results down to DBIII.
- Product business plan development and implementation in line with the TRW Steering Committee members for each cluster. Operational support on the implementation of TRW customer projects.
- Partnering with other internal departments (IT for digital solutions, Sales and Marketing Team for go-to-market and marketing campaign for both internal and external communication).
**What you bring**:
- You have gained strong experience (min 5 years) in product management and/or business development.
- You possess knowledge of operational warehousing and transport for product design; and good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
- You have the ability to sustain and develop team working and team based problem solving, to lead and motivate a team of people to succeed by utilising appropriate interpersonal styles
- You have strong performance management skills; you are able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives
- You have excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills and you are able to establish logical practical solutions
- You are computer literate with good numeric skills
