**Your role within our Kingdom**:
As a **Tech Lead** in IAP&E product group Improve, you will be responsible for enabling the successful delivery of Your product group’s short
- and long
- term goals, by providing the technical direction, developing, and continuously improving technical capabilities and processes within the Area, and successful collaboration with other Candy and King units.

**As a Tech Lead you will**:

- Inform and guide production plans from a technical perspective within the product group and sometimes the area
- Guide architecture in product group, and sometimes area initiatives and facilitate technical collaborations. Advise and challenge the teams with high
- level design decisions when needed
- Understand critical King systems and how they can be used in the area
- Facilitate collaborations with other Candy areas and King units
- Be ready to jump in and support high
- priority team projects and critical incidents
- Understand, communicate, and contribute to Candy’s tech architecture from the area perspective
- Work with teams on feature planning/task breakdown/ estimations
- Identify external dependencies and needed resources (ex. Tech art, Fiction, shared tech, Foundation support)
- Technical backlog refinement
- Promote production of high
- quality, scalable, and maintainable software
- Keep up to date with, and promote, the development of best
- practices
