We build some of the most innovative products in the veterinary diagnostic industry, each of which helps keep our pets happy and healthy.

The veterinarians that use these tools rely on Inside Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant (IVDC) to teach them how to leverage the full utilization potential through technical and educational activities.

As an IVDC you will have to build relationships with our Veterinary customers over the phone that are not covered by a Veterinary Diagnostic Consultant field sales professional.
You will acquire new business in existing customer base and acquire new customers leading to an overall increase in the territory revenue.
Help build customer loyalty through the effective use of IDEXX products & services including in-house instruments, rapid assay and reference laboratory diagnostic solutions in the customer’s practice.

The selling focus will be on a consultative customer approach to help practices grow their diagnostic revenue with IDEXX as a high value partner.

You will collaborate with your field sales colleagues to increase the diagnostic revenue year over year in your regions.
Achieve quarterly and annual revenue and profit goals through new account acquisition and existing account development.
Verbally and via webinar, educate and train veterinary clinic staff on products, services & marketing initiatives, including elevating issues to customer service when appropriate.
Attend regional sales meetings (phone and in person), trade shows and other educational events as required.

What do you need to succeed?

To be successful in this role you will need to possess a minimum of three (3) years proven sales experience, inside sales is a plus.
To be Proficient in speaking both the English (professional) and Spanish language (native level). Previous experience managing a sales pipeline highly preferred.

You must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with customers, management, and peers. You need to be able to build strong customer and peer partnerships that allow you to gain confidence and trust from others easily.
Essential to success is the ability to plan and prioritize work in a dynamic environment and make quality, timely decisions. It is imperative that you have effective listening skills that are utilized to discover customer needs to adapt your approach and demeanor to different situations.
