As a Technical Animator, you will be working on UE5 animation tools to make animators’ art a reality in the game. To achieve this you will work closely with the Lead Animator, Lead Combat Designer and the Programming Team and will act as a bridge between all of them.Desired requirements

UE5 Animation blueprint experience.
- Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines.
- Background in game development.
- Be able to help Tech Art Team and/or VFX Team will be valued positively.
- Residence in Barcelona is preferred.Duties

Be the owner of the Animation blueprints
- Improve our use of Unreal Engine animation tools (Custom animation node creation, Control Rig, Motion graph, IK Animation retargeting etc.)
- Develop Procedural & Physicalised Animation systems.
- Standardise the interaction with animation blueprint across the team. (e.g., Give animators input into how to setup anim montages, blendspaces and the state machine optimally).
- Work with designers to help the animations fit into the desired gameplay interactions and mechanics.
- Approach programmers to optimise and extend the current set of both gameplay and engine technologies.
- While being in the animation department, be the first point of contact for technical matters in regards of animation in Unreal.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical production issues.
- Develop and maintain tools to support the team’s workflow.**Benefits**:
