**Job description**:
Find your place at Amaris Consulting as a **Cybersecurity Engineer** in this **opportunity based in** Barcelona (hybrid). **Start your new adventure in an international and agile Environment **by identifying opportunities for improvement at the technical, functional, and organizational levels, transfering your knowledge to develop impactful changes in the company.**
**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- The Security Engineer will become part of the Information Security Engineering team and will lead technical design and implementation of security controls (technology & process).
- A technical champion, who is not afraid to engineer and/or lead partners in the development and during the lifecycle of security solutions.
- In addition, he/she provides L3 technical support and is not afraid of troubleshooting the most complex engineering challenges to safeguard our data, offices, manufacturing, R&D, datacenters and cloud environments.
- Develop scripts, tools, or methodologies for threat prevention, process automation, technology orchestration, and response actions.
- Provide technical security guidance and risk advisory to IT, OT & business teams advancing digitalization, user-centric secure service development and process optimization.
✍️ **WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? **✍️
- Relevant BS degree and/or certifications (CCNP, CISSP, CEH, OSCP, SANS).
- +5 years of related security experience.
- Expertise across a variety of commercial and open-source solutions such as: Windows, Linux, Docker, VMWare, Azure, O365, FW (Palo Alto, Fortinet), WAF (F5, Azure, Mod sec), system hardening, anti-spam technologies (Proofpoint), DLP, IAM, MFA, Python, Apache, IIS, DevSecOps,
- Excellent written and verbal **English** communication skills to collaborate with tech & non-tech stakeholders.
- Analytical thinker with strong organizational skills, ability to lead projects on a technical level while keeping attention to details.
- Offensive cyber security skills for red teaming activities.
